The process will start this week and will last up to one month. During the overhaul and modernization period, the workforce on the platform will increase by 3,200 people. The refinery currently employs up to 900 people.

Some 1,900 pipelines and 1,300 safety valves will be verified.

OMV Petrom will also stop the Brazi power plant, namely one of the turbines will be stopped for two weeks and the other one for three weeks. The process is a routine one, according to OMV Petrom representatives.
