Calcium Carbonate processing plant in Serbia

The project is a Calcium Carbonate processing plant based in Serbia with a total annual output of 350,000 t of highly technical products. Pharmaceutical industry is the Factory primary focus, with the supply of high quality calcium carbonate raw materials. calcium carbonate is used as filler material in a number of industries including the manufacturing of plastic and paints. It is also used as a catalyst in the treatment of rubber and as an additive in paper-making.

The plant consists of 4 phases /production lines , the current work is for the first production line which will be equipped with primary and secondary crushers, a granules processing stage, a 2MW ball mill with multiple classifying systems, several lines for surface treatment, truck loading stations, big bag filling stations as well as fully automated packing lines and palletizers.

Clarions scope of work includes Owners Engineering package with full project cycle of technical and commercial advisory services, equipment procurement and technology processes integration, EPC supervision and quality control followed by commissioning and production kick off.

Owners Engineer services will include All Civil works, Steel structure works and silos (Supply, fabrication and Erection), All Mechanical works including equipment erection and piping, All Electrical works (Erection), All temporary facilities such as site office labor and staff camps, temporary services.

Clarion will also support client in opening underground mine operations and related project development.

Clarion Owners Engineer works with private investors from energy, mining and heavy industry. company’s involvement in the project are “part of its strategic plan to invest in integrated industries”.
